try opening it with paint and save as jpgHow to change picture formats?
If you're unable to open the image in Paint and you don't want to mess with installing GIMP then try IrfanView to open it and save in different format.

there's also XnView - it's less popular but still a great freware image program - it may also handle more different formats than IrfanView. http://www.xnview.com/

btw: if you have GIMP just open the image and save it with a .jpg extension.

(I've never heard of that ';img2img'; program somone mentioned. I searched for it and from what I could find out it is actually shareware. I also wouldn't trust direct download links to unknown applications.)

If you have Gimp, there should be a Save As that let's you change the image to a .jpg file type. Almost all image editors have that ability, and Gimp is well enough designed and popular enough that there's no reason it shouldn't allow you to do that.
Easiest way I know to do this is to open your file in Paint program (assuming you're on Windows). Open the file, then click Save As, and in the File type box, change it to the one you want to save it as. Then you will have duplicated the image, in another format.
yes the Paint program is the easiest way to do it, to open Paint program go to Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; Paint, the open your image and save it to desire format
yep use this freeware utility
