Whenever i try and change my picture on msn my msn stops working?

whenever i try and change my picture on msn,

i click ';change picture'; then ';browse';

when i click browse my whole msn stops working

like i can't click on it or anything...

i try to exit that window but it wont let me click on anything regarding to msn.



how do i fix this?

add and remove programs

MSN

'change'

when the wizard comes up select 'repair'

wait til the wizard

finishes

sign in again
